I'm finding a lot of breaks & beats kind of stuff, and a lot of interesting sounds, but I am having a hard time find some bellydance electronica that is in a house or trance style. Does anyone have any suggestions for the kind of simple, happy, uncomplicated techno for a belly dancer's enjoyment?
Thanks, all!

Re: need some house & trance style bellydance music suggestions
Tue, April 21, 2009 - 8:35 PMThere's a "Chill Out" series of compilations that you should find in the techno section of just about any large store. They are two-CD sets and much of it is similar to what you are looking for. My favorite is the 2nd volume:

There's also a local group in Cincinnati that often supports bellydancers with trance style music. They have CDs and downloadable tracks.

Good luck. There's a LOT out there. You just have to dig through it all to find exactly what you want. Also, try searching on CD-Baby for music that's a little out of the mainstream.
