A lot of this music sounds new age and slow...is there music you would recommend for dance?

The show starts in more of an ambient mode (I certainly wouldn't use the term "new age" but I guess that's in the ears of the beholder) and gradually gets more dance-floor friendly.

like the flow Bob, slow build is good for me,
        particularly on very stretched performance
        paradigms...just had a similar converse
with my friend Katie who plays keys on
        the Bossa/Jazz Samba Brazilectro we
do, as she is western Canadian rep
        for Putamayo and was describing
the reception and concerns re groove of
their new "India" comp release and the
responses it got in the company round
        robin in New York...
Katie is a Bhangra kinda gal, so she
was hoping for more a bangin' (mellowly)
Bollywood direction...me, I like the charting of
        the mix...

Thanks Azul. For me, it's all about the dynamics. The big "banging" stuff feels more powerful if you build up to it rather than just flog it endlessly. Of course, there's a time and place for just "letting it rip"...

          Hope you are well
